Setting up in Katipur Industrial Area was a choice based on where the work was. I go by my name, Ramanpreet Singh, for the business because that’s how everyone knows me anyway. It’s a rough-and-ready kind of place. There are no paved sidewalks or pretty flowers around here. It’s just sheds, workshops, and lots of heavy machinery. I spend most of my day on the floor, making sure things are being handled right. The air usually smells like oil or burnt metal, which is just part of the job. I don't have a big staff, just a few reliable guys who have been with me for years. We eat our lunch together on some old wooden crates when the sun is high. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. I started this because I liked working with my hands, and even though it gets stressful sometimes, I wouldn't know what else to do. The industrial area can be a bit lonely at night when everyone leaves, but during the day, it's a hive of activity. We don't have a website or a fancy logo; people find us by word of mouth or by just driving through Katipur and seeing the sign. It’s honest work, and we try to keep it simple. If something breaks, we fix it. That’s pretty much the whole story.
