Our place is over at Plot No. 226 in IMT Manesar. We are quite close to Maruti Gate No. 04, which makes it easy to explain where we are to delivery drivers who get lost. This part of Manesar is always busy with trucks and factory workers moving around. We do export work, which means a lot of paperwork and checking shipping containers. Our office is functional, nothing more. We have desks, some filing cabinets that are overstuffed, and a few chairs for visitors. It's often a bit loud with the industrial sounds from the neighbors. We spend our mornings on the phone checking schedules and our afternoons making sure the shipments are packed right. It’s not a glamorous job. We deal with delays, customs forms, and logistics every single day. We don't have any big speeches about our values or mission. We just want to get the products from point A to point B without any trouble. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is behind, drinking tea and double-checking invoices under the desk lamps. It’s a small team and we all pitch in with everything, from loading to typing. We’ve been in this plot for a while now and we like the location despite the dust and the noise. It’s where the work is, so it’s where we are. There’s always something to be done, so we stay busy and keep moving forward as best as we can.
