Mechelec

Mechelec is situated out at 17/6, Milestone, on Delhi Road. Being on the highway like this means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. The location is quite straightforward, mostly surrounded by other sheds and industrial buildings that sit along the Delhi Road stretch. We spend our time working on various mechanical and electrical parts, though the place often looks a bit cluttered with tools and metal bits scattered around the benches. It is the kind of shop where your hands are going to get dirty within the first five minutes. We do not have a fancy reception or any of that corporate stuff. Most of the time, we are just in the back trying to fix something that stopped working or putting together pieces for a client who needs them yesterday. The noise from the heavy trucks outside is constant, so we usually have to talk a bit louder to hear each other. It can get pretty hot in the summer since the building is mostly just brick and metal. We have a small area where we keep the paperwork, but it usually ends up covered in grease or coffee stains. It is a simple setup for people who just want their stuff handled without any fuss. We have been at this milestone for a good bit of time, and the locals know where to pull over when they need us.
