Our building is at 192-B in Sector 4 of IMT Manesar. This part of the country is full of large factories and industrial plants. It’s a very different vibe from the city. Everything here is about scale and production. At Makino India, we spend our days around large machinery and technical drawings. The facility is quite big compared to a regular shop. We have a lot of space for the equipment, but it still feels like a workspace where people are getting their hands dirty. The commute to Manesar can be long, so the day starts early for most of us. We have a lot of staff coming in from different areas. The office part of the building is functional, and the workshop floor is where most of the action happens. You’ll hear the hum of machines all day long. We don't really do much in terms of flashy displays. Most people who come here are here for business and know exactly what they are looking for. The air is often thick with the smell of metal and coolant. We take our breaks in the canteen or just outside by the gate. It’s a very structured environment because that’s what the work requires. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines we are building or fixing. It’s a practical place for practical work.
