Jnl Line Corporation is situated at 205/A, Rash Behari Ave in Ballygunge. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there’s never a dull moment. You can hear the trams and the cars honking from the moment we open the doors in the morning. Our space is tucked into one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep to climb. Inside Jnl Line Corporation, things are pretty straightforward. We have our desks set up and we just get on with the day's work. There’s no fancy air conditioning in every corner, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep things moving when it gets humid. Ballygunge is a great area, but the traffic on Rash Behari Ave can be a nightmare sometimes. We’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant bustle outside. It feels like the heart of the city. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that posted on the walls. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. The office has that old-school feel with heavy furniture and stacks of ledgers. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel kind of place, but it suits the way we work. We usually have our tea sent in from the shop downstairs. By the time evening rolls around, the street is glowing with all the shop lights and we head out into the crowd to start the commute home.
