Our facility is located out in the Sanjing Industrial Park, which is part of the Zhongxin area in Zengcheng. It is a bit of a long drive from the center of Guangzhou, but being in the industrial park gives us all the space we need for the chemical work we do. The area is full of other large factories and warehouses, so it is always busy with trucks and workers moving around. Inside our building, it is mostly labs and storage areas. We make various chemical products, mostly for things like car care or industrial cleaning purposes. It is a lot of mixing, testing, and packing every day. The air usually smells a bit like solvent or soap, depending on exactly what we are making that afternoon. The floors are made of concrete and we have to be very careful about our safety protocols, so things can be a bit strict on the floor. It is not a glamorous job, and the hours can get quite long when we have a big order to get out of the door. We have a small canteen where everyone eats lunch together, which is a nice break from the noise of the machines. Most of us live nearby in the Guangdong province, so it is a local crowd. We don't really do much in the way of fancy office decor; we put our resources into the equipment instead. It is a practical setup designed for real work.
