Sector 18 has changed a lot over the years and Village Sarhaul is right there in the mix of all the new industrial buildings. At Anand Cis (india) Pvt Ltd, we are part of that transition between the old village roads and the new factory setups. The area is always a bit dusty because of the trucks moving through the narrow lanes. Our facility is a busy spot where we focus on various manufacturing tasks. You can hear the rhythmic sound of metal hitting metal throughout the day. We have a team of people who have been with us for a long time and everyone knows their role. The office is just a simple room with a couple of computers and a lot of thick folders piled on the shelves. We drink a lot of water because it gets very stuffy inside during the monsoon season. There is a small gate at the front where the security guard sits and watches the street. We get all kinds of deliveries throughout the week so the front area is often blocked by crates or pallets. It is a very hands-on environment and our clothes usually end up with a bit of grease or dirt on them by five o'clock. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. It is all about the production schedule and making sure the machines are oiled and working. When it is time to go home, we all head out into the busy Sarhaul traffic.
