Our office is tucked away in Saraswativihar, which is part of the Saraswati Housing Board in Gurgaon. It’s at number 11. Since we deal with things like diamonds, you might expect something very high-end, but G Wild Diamond Pvt Ltd is actually a pretty grounded place. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s quiet. We spend our days looking at very small things under bright lights. The eyes get tired after a few hours, so we take breaks to walk around the block. Gurgaon has grown so much around us, but this little corner of Haryana feels a bit more like the old days. We have a small team, and we’ve all worked together for quite a while. We don't do much advertising; most people find us through word of mouth or because they know where we are located. The security is important, of course, but we try not to make it feel like a prison. It's just a regular workplace where we value the precision of what we do. The desks are always cluttered with tools and little pouches. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the reporting part of the job take longer than it should. We just deal with it. It’s an honest day’s work. We usually lock up around six and head home like everyone else in the housing board, trying to beat the traffic before it gets too bad.
