You can find us at Sf-02 in the Mgf Mega City Mall on M.G. Road. Being in a mall is a different kind of experience compared to a street shop. Everything is climate-controlled, but you lose track of whether it’s sunny or raining outside. We spend a lot of time adjusting displays and making sure the shop floor looks decent. M.G. Road is always packed with cars, so getting to work can be a real headache some mornings. The mall itself gets really loud on weekends with all the families and teenagers walking around. During the weekdays, it’s much quieter, and we mostly deal with regular customers who know exactly what they want. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock and a kettle for making tea. It’s a bit cramped back there with all the boxes stacked up to the ceiling. Working in retail means long hours on your feet, so we all have comfortable shoes. We don't do big speeches about what we do; we just show people the items and help them find the right size or color. The mall security guards are friendly enough, and we usually chat with the staff from the neighboring stores during our breaks. It’s a steady routine of opening up, cleaning the glass, and waiting for the first customer of the day. It’s not a complicated life, just keeping the shop running and making sure the inventory matches the sales records at the end of every night.
