E-System Distribution

You can find E-System Distribution at 521 in Udyog Vihar, Phase-III. Finding your way through the different phases of Udyog Vihar can be tricky if you aren't used to it, but once you get to Phase-III, we are easy enough to spot. Our unit is basically a large warehouse space where we handle all the distribution work. There are boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in some parts, and there is always the sound of tape dispensers and plastic wrapping being pulled. It's a high-ceilinged place that stays relatively cool in the mornings but gets stuffy by the afternoon. We have a small desk area near the front for the records, but most of the action happens on the floor. The trucks come in and out through the day, so there is a lot of shouting and signaling to get them parked in the right spot. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old posters and maybe a schedule or two. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there from the heavy pallets we move around. It's hard work and it keeps us on our feet for most of the shift. We usually have a quick tea break outside near the gate to get some fresh air. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do at 521 and we’re used to the pace.
