Design 'n' Architecture

People usually find us here in Sector 47 because they need someone to look at a plot of land or a room and tell them what’s possible. Design 'n' Architecture is not a big corporate machine. It’s just a bunch of us sitting around desks in Gurgaon, trying to figure out how to make buildings work. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and arguing over where a wall should go. It’s not always glamorous. Most days involve a lot of phone calls to vendors and making sure the site guys actually showed up. Sector 47 is a busy part of town, and we like being right in the middle of it. We don’t really do the whole fancy presentation thing. Usually, we just sit down with a client, grab a piece of paper, and start sketching. It’s more practical that way. You get to see the mistakes and the fixes right there. We’ve seen Gurgaon change a lot over the years, and we just try to keep our heads down and do the work. There’s always dust on the floor from samples being moved around, and the coffee is usually cold because we got distracted by a drawing. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just like building things and seeing a project finally get finished after months of back and forth. It’s a long process, but we’re here for it every day.
