Auto Rubber Industries

Auto Rubber Industries is out on Khera Bewat Road in Village Gurgaon. It is a bit far from the main city center, which means we have a bit more space but also a lot of dust from the surrounding fields. We work primarily with rubber, making various parts and components. The smell of raw rubber is quite strong when the presses are running, but after working here for a few weeks, you don't even notice it anymore. The building is a simple structure with a high ceiling to help with the heat. We have a small group of workers who live nearby and walk to the shop every morning. It isn't a high-tech facility with robots or anything like that. We do things by hand and with some older mechanical presses that require a lot of attention. There is a small yard in the front where we keep some of the raw materials covered with tarps. When it rains, the road out here can get pretty tricky to drive on, so we try to get our deliveries out before the weather turns. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. We just focus on making the parts correctly. There is a small tap outside where we wash up before heading home. It's an honest day's work and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We keep the machines running from dawn till dusk most days.
