You can find us at 300, Phase-II in Udyog Vihar. It’s a big area with a lot of manufacturing going on. Our company, Aro Equipments, deals with tools and machinery for garages and workshops. If you’ve ever been in an auto shop, you’ve probably seen some of the stuff we supply. The building we are in is quite large, which is good because some of the machines we handle are pretty bulky. We have a front office where the phones are always ringing, and then the back where the real work happens. It’s noisy and there is always the smell of metal or oil in the air. We don’t really do fancy presentations. If a customer comes by, we just show them how the equipment works on the floor. The people working here are a good bunch. We’ve had the same crew for a while now. Udyog Vihar is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a dull moment. We have our lunch together in a small room near the entrance. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish an order, but nobody complains much. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is in good shape. It’s a regular 9-to-5 most days, though it rarely feels that simple. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical business for practical people, and that’s exactly how we like it to stay.
