A K Electric Tools

A K Electric Tools is up on the first floor at 40 Rajiv Nagar. Being on the first floor is a bit different than the street-level shops on New Mata Road. You have to walk up the narrow stairs, but it’s a bit quieter up here away from the dust and the heat of the road. We have a lot of electric drills, saws, and grinders sitting on the counters. The smell of oil and plastic is pretty strong in the mornings, but we are used to it by now. We spend our time testing the equipment or putting things back in their original boxes. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room filled with power tools of all shapes and sizes. Sometimes we help people figure out which cord goes with which machine when they get confused. We don't have a fancy display window to show off the stock. People usually come here because they already know what they want. It’s a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We keep the paper ledger on the old desk and try to stay organized as best we can. New Mata Road is always busy, so we hear the horns honking all day long, but up on the 1st floor, it feels a bit separated from the chaos. We’ve been here at Rajiv Nagar for a while. It’s a good spot for an electric tool shop. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next person.
