About Traineee In Sheraton Bahrain – Tourism in Guntur
I grew up in Atmakur village, which is part of the Mangalagiri area in Guntur. My father is Sankar Reddy. Things are pretty quiet back home in the village, mostly farms and small shops. I ended up doing this trainee program at the Sheraton in Bahrain. It's a long way from Guntur, that's for sure. I remember when I first told my family about it. They were a bit surprised and worried. Now I spend a lot of time learning how the big hotels work. It’s very different from the life I knew growing up. The hours are long and you have to stand on your feet for most of the shift. In the village, things move slower and you know every face you see. Here, everything has to be fast and perfect. I miss the food from home sometimes. My mother’s cooking is better than anything in a five-star kitchen. I’m just trying to learn as much as I can so I can have a better future. I write letters back home when I get a break. The weather in Bahrain is even hotter than the summers in Andhra Pradesh. I’m just one guy from a small village trying to make it in a big city. It’s hard work, but it’s what I’m doing right now. I hope to come back one day with more skills. My friends in Mangalagiri ask me about it all the time.
