Jntu Kakinada

This office is located at Door No 12 12 32 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Even though the name is Jntu Kakinada, this particular spot is where we handle things in the Guntur area. It’s a typical building for this part of town, with thick walls and high ceilings to keep the heat out. We have a lot of students and staff coming through the doors most days. The floors are made of simple tile and there are ceiling fans spinning overhead to keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time dealing with registrations and academic papers. There are stacks of folders on almost every flat surface. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We use old wooden desks that have been here since the office opened. Most of the work is done on computers now, but we still keep a lot of paper backups. Guntur can get really hot in the summer, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations on the walls. It’s just a functional space for managing university affairs. Everyone who works here has been part of the system for years. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the students get what they need. It’s a basic, honest operation in the heart of the city.
