Sravanthi Bakery

Our bakery is right here at Ramannapet in Guntur. You can find us at Dr No. 4-2-7, 1/3. It’s a local neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Every morning starts very early for us, usually before the sun is even up. We have to get the ovens going so things are ready. Sravanthi Bakery isn't a big commercial chain. It’s just a small shop where we do everything ourselves. There is usually flour on our clothes and the smell of bread in the air. We know most of our customers by name because they live just down the street. We don’t have a fancy display case, just some simple shelves. Some days the heat from the ovens makes the shop quite warm, but we’re used to it by now. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Ramannapet is a nice place to work because it feels like home. We see the same people every day and hear the same local news. It’s a simple life. We focus on making things that people like to eat. We don’t use any complicated recipes, just the ones we’ve used for years. It’s a lot of manual work, kneading dough and watching the timers. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day. It’s not a perfect shop, but it’s ours and we are here every day.
