Cloud Nine Mattresses

We set up Cloud Nine Mattresses over at 3528 Shell Point Rd because it was a decent space for a workshop and a small front area. We aren't some big factory. It’s mostly just a few of us putting things together. Making a good mattress takes a bit of patience, and we have plenty of that. The shop gets a bit dusty with all the foam and fabric lying around, especially when we are cutting things to size. People come in from Shell Point Rd to try out what we have on the floor. It’s funny because everyone wants something different—some want it hard as a rock and others want to sink in. We just listen to what they say and try to find a match. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we know most of the regulars who walk by. It’s a quiet enough part of the road, which is nice for us. We don't use any high-tech sales tactics. If a mattress feels good to you, it feels good. If it doesn't, we try another one. We do the deliveries ourselves most of the time in the old truck. It’s a bit beat up but it gets the mattresses to people's houses. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy signs. We just rely on the fact that if someone sleeps well, they might tell their neighbor about us. That’s how we keep the lights on and keep working every day.
