Deepak Printing Press

Deepak Printing Press is tucked away at 125/2, right on Old Police Station Road here in Narasaraopet. If you know the area, you know it can get a bit crowded with traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Our space isn't huge, so we have to stack the paper boxes wherever they fit, usually against the back wall or under the worktables. We spend a lot of time just making sure the ink levels are right and that the rollers aren’t getting gunked up. It’s messy work sometimes. My hands usually have some kind of smudge on them by noon, no matter how much I wash them. Most people in Narasaraopet know where to find us if they need something printed for a local event or just some basic paperwork done up. We don’t really do anything fancy with the decor; it’s mostly just functional stuff like cutters and staplers laying around. The light in the shop isn't the best in the evening, but we have enough lamps to see what we're doing. It feels like we spend more time talking to neighbors who stop by than anything else some days. It is just a simple operation. We open up early, get the machines warmed up, and start going through the list of what needs to get out the door by sunset. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just keeping the press running as usual.
