Amar Singh & Sons

Our place is located right in the middle of Brokers Bazaar, at Plot No-23-10-52. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know how crowded it gets with people shouting and carts moving everywhere. Amar Singh started things here a long time ago, and now the sons are basically running the day-to-day stuff. It’s a loud environment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. The shop floor is usually covered in samples and bits of packaging. There’s a small space in the back where we keep the records and a hot plate for making tea. Usually, the tea is the only thing that keeps us going when the market gets really frantic. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. People just know where the plot is because we’ve been here so long. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to move all the furniture out to do it. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when a big shipment comes in and we have to find space for it on the fly. We just work through the piles and try to stay organized enough to find what we need. It’s a lot of manual work and talking, but that’s how business goes in the bazaar.
