Microbiology Tech

My work is based at H.No.1-1-191/5. It’s right opposite the Mecca Masjid in Muslim Pura. This is in Yadgir, but we are part of the Gulbarga district here in Karnataka. Being a microbiology tech means I spend a lot of time looking at things most people don't see. The lab is small but it has what I need. The location near the masjid means it’s a very busy area, especially on Fridays. You can hear the calls to prayer while I’m working on samples. It’s a very local feel. India is a busy place and Muslim Pura is no exception. I’ve been here at this address for a long time. The building itself is just a regular structure on a busy street. I don't have any fancy marketing for what I do. People just know me as the tech in the neighborhood. I handle the tests and the slides and the reports. It’s technical work but I’m just a normal person doing it. I don’t use a lot of big words when I’m talking to neighbors about my job. I just say I work with microscopes.
