Shri Radhe Tent & Decorator

Over at Shalimar Garden Extension 1, at S 43, we keep all our supplies for tents and decorations. It is a job that involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy things around. We have stacks of folded tents, piles of chairs, and rolls of fabric in various colors. Most of our work happens outside at different venues where people are having parties or weddings. We show up with a truck and start putting up the poles and stretching the cloth. It's physical work and we are often working in the sun or late at night to get everything ready on time. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we are mostly out on the ground or in the warehouse checking the inventory. Things get worn out or stained, so we spend time cleaning the fabrics and fixing the frames. We've been doing this in the Shalimar Garden area for a while now. We don't use any fancy sales talk. When someone needs a tent, they come to us and we tell them what we have available for those dates. It is about being there when the event starts and making sure the chairs are lined up. We see a lot of happy celebrations, which is a nice part of the job, even if our backs are sore by the end of the day. We just load the truck and go to the next site.
