Shree Maa Lakshmi Tent House

At Shree Maa Lakshmi Tent House, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy pipes and large sheets of colorful cloth. Our base is at Alfa Nawada Village Centre, specifically on the Main Road at F-147. It is a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is hot or if it starts raining suddenly. We have piles of chairs stacked up in the back and rolls of carpet that have seen many different parties. When someone has a function coming up in the village, they come to talk to us about how many guests are coming. We have to load everything onto the trucks and then go out to the site to set it all up. It is not just about the tents, it is about making sure the poles are sturdy and the decorations are tied down right. Sometimes we are working late into the night to get everything ready for a morning event. The Main Road can get quite congested, so moving the equipment in and out takes a bit of patience. We have been doing this for years around the Alfa Nawada area. We don't use fancy brochures or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. It is a straightforward business and we just focus on getting the structures up so the event can happen. Every day is a bit different depending on the job.
