We’ve been here in Udyog Kendra Surajpur for a good while now. Most days it’s just the sound of machines and people moving metal around the floor. It gets pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just how the shop goes. We do a lot of different things with metal here, mostly impressions and shaping stuff for other businesses that need it. It isn't anything fancy. My desk is usually covered in papers and some metal scraps that I haven't cleared off yet. People come by the gate asking for quotes or checking on their orders. We try to keep things moving because there is always a lot to get through before the day ends. The heat in Surajpur can get quite bad during the summer months, making the work a bit harder for the guys on the floor. We just have our small team and we stick to what we know. Sometimes we have tea together near the entrance when it's quiet for five minutes. It’s a busy industrial area, so there are trucks coming in and out all the time. If you walk past our place, you’ll see the sign for Metalic Impressions India Pvt Ltd. It's just a regular workplace where we deal with metal pieces all day long. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just the workshop and some storage space. It works for us, and it’s how we’ve always done it.
