Living and working out here in Greater Noida is different than being in the main city. It’s more spread out, and everything feels like it’s still under construction half the time. I set up my business here because there’s room to breathe. I spend a lot of my time driving between different sites or sitting in my office trying to get the paperwork to match up with what’s actually happening on the ground. My office is pretty basic—just some desks, a few files, and a very loud air conditioner that I probably need to get fixed before next summer starts. I’m usually the first one in and the last one to leave most nights. I handle most of the stuff myself, from talking to suppliers to making sure the bills get paid on time. It’s a lot of juggling, and sometimes I forget a lunch or two, but that’s just how it is when you’re running your own show. I don’t go for any of that fancy management talk. I just tell people what I can do and then I try my best to get it done. The roads out here can be a bit rough on the tires, but I’ve got a sturdy vehicle. I like the fact that I know the guards and the tea sellers around the block. It’s a growing area, and I’m just trying to grow along with it in my own way.
