Krishna Telecom

Our shop is called Krishna Telecom and you can find us at Beeta 1 Center Palace Market in Rampur jagir. It’s not a very big shop, just a small counter with a glass top where we keep the phone cases and the screen guards. Most of the day is spent looking through a magnifying glass at tiny motherboards or trying to get a charging port to work again. The market is usually quite loud with people shouting and bikes zooming past the front door. We have a lot of cables hanging on the walls in no particular order, which makes the place look a bit messy but we know where everything is. The stool behind the counter is a bit wobbly so you have to sit on it just right. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes forever to download a software update for a customer’s phone. We drink a lot of tea while we work, and there is usually a half-empty cup sitting somewhere near the soldering iron. The walls are covered with posters for mobile plans that changed months ago. It’s a busy little corner of Rampur jagir and we are usually here from ten in the morning until late at night when the market finally starts to go quiet. We also have a small box of old batteries under the counter that we need to get rid of someday. It’s just how the shop is, a bit cluttered but we get the repairs done.
