Maa Ambey Mobile

Down in AlfaII Block-F 12, that is where you will find us at Maa Ambey Mobile. It is a small shop really, packed with different phone cases and chargers hanging on the walls. We spend most of our time looking at small screens or fixing buttons that don't click anymore. The neighborhood here is usually active and people often drop by just to ask a quick question about their signal or a broken glass. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the street so we are always wiping down the glass counters. It can get a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at the same time. We have a stool in the corner where we sit when things are quiet. Sometimes the internet is slow and that makes the work take longer but we manage. We’ve got a small fan that keeps the air moving but in the summer it doesn't do much. People know us around here because we have been at this location for some time now. We just handle the phones and the recharges and whatever else comes through the door. It is not a big corporate store with uniforms, just us in our regular clothes doing what we do every day. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but people still see it. We usually keep some cold water in the back if it's a hot day and we’re waiting for a screen repair to finish.
