K. K. Komponent

K. K. Komponent is based out of unit number 135 in Udyog Kendra Extn.-I. It’s an industrial area, so it’s full of trucks and people moving crates around. Our space is pretty functional—mostly storage and a bit of room for assembly. We’ve been here since this extension was developed, and we’ve seen it grow quite a bit over the years. We mostly handle small parts and pieces that go into bigger machines. It’s a lot of counting and checking, which can get repetitive, but it’s important to get it right. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just answer the phone when it rings and try to help people find the parts they need. The lighting in the warehouse isn’t the best, and it can get a bit chilly in the winter months. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. Everyone here knows their job, so we don't need a lot of management or meetings. We just show up, do our shift, and head home to our families. It’s not the kind of place that makes the news, but we provide for our families and keep things moving. We value the relationships we have with the other businesses in the Kendra. It’s a community of workers just trying to make things work out.
