Balraj Singh Garden Tools

My shop, Balraj Singh Garden Tools, is over in A Block, Plot No 16.3. It’s in Sector 15, pretty close to the Ansal Plaza there. I’ve spent a lot of my life around shovels, rakes, and all types of cutters. The plot is a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but it works for what we do. We have all kinds of tools piled up inside and some out back. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s a place for people who actually work in the dirt. I started this because I know what it’s like to have a tool break right when you need it. We see a lot of local gardeners and some folks who just want to fix up their own backyards. Sector 15 is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street. I keep a small chair near the entrance where I sit when things are quiet. The inventory changes depending on the season. When the rains are coming, everyone wants the heavy-duty stuff. I don't use a computer for much; most of my records are in a big ledger book. It’s old-fashioned, but it never crashes. Sometimes my nephew comes by to help move the heavier crates. We don't have a big team. It’s just us and the tools. If you’re looking for us, look for the gate near the main road. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
