Shashi Marbles

Shashi Marbles is right there at the corner where the Deoria Bypass meets Rustumpur. It’s a busy spot with trucks and cars always zooming past. We’ve been operating out of this yard for quite some time now. Usually, the day starts early when the sun isn't too hot yet. We spend most of our time moving marble slabs around so people can see the different colors and patterns. It’s heavy work, honestly. The yard gets pretty dusty, and by the end of the day, our boots are covered in that white stone powder. There isn't much fancy about the place. It's just a lot of stone and some guys working. We get a lot of local folks stopping by after seeing the sign while driving on the bypass. Sometimes the inventory is a bit disorganized because a new shipment just came in and we haven’t had a chance to stack it neatly. We have different sizes of marble, mostly for floors or counters. You can see the crates piled up from the road. When it rains, the ground gets a little muddy, but we keep the stones covered as much as we can. It’s a straightforward business. We show what we have, talk about the price, and figure out how to get it to the customer’s house. Most people around Rustumpur know where we are. It's a simple life here, just dealing with stone and the daily traffic outside our gate.
