Gautam Tiles

You can find Gautam Tiles over in the Shanti Complex, which is right in the middle of Sawai Bazar. It is a very busy area, especially since we are so close to the Junior High School. There are always people walking by and kids running around, so the shop never really feels quiet. Our space is packed with as many different tile samples as we can possibly fit into the room. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we get a large shipment in from the suppliers. We have to move old boxes around to make room for the new ones on the floor. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights or air conditioning. It is just a regular shop where the tiles are leaning against the walls and stacked in heavy piles. People come in while they are out doing their other shopping in the bazar or after picking up their children. We know a lot of the local folks because we have been in this spot for a long time. It is a lot of hard work moving those heavy boxes every single day. We usually have dust on our hands and clothes from handling all the ceramic and stone. We don't use any big marketing words or tricks here. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them the price. It is a very simple way of doing things. The market can be chaotic, but we like being right in the center of the action.
