Lari Crockery

Lari Crockery is located at Plot No.-2 over by Reti Chowk. We’re in the Kohar Tola area on Shahmaroof Road. This part of Shahmaroof is always crowded with people looking for things for their homes. Our shop is full of plates, cups, and all kinds of kitchen stuff. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to fit a lot on the shelves. You have to be careful walking around so you don't knock anything over. We’ve had a few broken glasses over the years, that’s just how it goes. People come to us when they are setting up a new kitchen or if they broke a favorite dish and need a replacement. We don’t do any fancy marketing. Usually, someone’s mother told them to come here because she’s been buying from us for years. The noise from Reti Chowk comes right through the door, but you get used to it. It’s a lot of manual work, unpacking crates and checking for cracks. My hands are usually a bit dusty from the packing straw. We aren't a big showroom, just a local shop doing our thing. Sometimes we get some really nice patterned sets in, but they go fast. Most of the time it’s just sturdy everyday stuff. If you need something for your table, we’re usually around. It’s a simple business but it keeps the lights on and keeps us active in the local market.
