Our business is out in Post Sakhritole in the Salikla tehsil. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like being out where things are a bit slower. We handle a variety of local manufacturing work here at our site. The building is more like a large, dusty workshop than a modern office, if I'm being honest. We have several machines that keep us busy from early morning until sunset. It gets quite loud when everything is running, so we usually wear earplugs and old clothes that can get dirty. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just focus on the orders that come in from the surrounding villages and farms. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things moving, especially during the heavy monsoon rains, but we manage somehow. Our workers are mostly from the local area and we’ve known their families for many years. We take a long break in the middle of the day to eat and rest before finishing up our tasks for the evening. There are no computer screens everywhere, just a lot of manual work and checking pieces by hand. It’s the kind of place where you get your hands oily every single day. We are proud of the work we do out here in Sakhritole. It is steady and it serves the local people who depend on us. That is enough to keep us going.
