Shree Madhav Handicraft

The workshop here on Gokhlana Road gets pretty busy around noon. We’ve been at this spot in Rameshwar Nagar for a good while now. It’s mostly just us working with our hands every day, trying to get things finished before the sun goes down too much. The space isn't very big, so we have stuff stacked up in the corners quite often. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but that is just how it is around here. We spend a lot of time just sorting through materials and making sure things look right. It is not fancy work, but it keeps us busy. People from around Gokhlana stop by sometimes just to see what we are making. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It’s mostly family and a couple of helpers who know the trade. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when the weather is nice. The road can be noisy with the bikes passing by. We try to keep things organized but when there's a lot of work, the floor gets covered in scraps. It's a bit of a mess during the day, honestly. We usually start early in the morning while it's still cool outside. It’s just a regular life here, making things and hoping they turn out okay. Nothing too complicated about it. We just stay here and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the tools get a bit dull and we have to stop and sharpen them. It's just part of the routine.
