Agrobuys Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our place is over at Hatsingimari, staying with Abu Eusuf Zakaria’s care. It’s a quiet area mostly. Being a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time talking to the local guys around here. There is always someone coming by the door to ask about the crops or the market prices. We don’t have a big shiny office. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and figure out the logistics for the week. Dealing with farming is never easy, especially when the rains are unpredictable. We do our best to keep things moving. It’s a group effort, really. Everyone knows everyone in Hatsingimari, so news travels fast. If a tractor breaks down or seeds are late, we all hear about it pretty quickly. Agrobuys was started to help get things organized for the farmers in this corner of the region. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we do things the old way with pens and paper. We aren’t trying to be some big corporation. We’re just local people trying to make the work a bit more manageable for everyone involved. The office isn't much to look at, but it gets the job done for us. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It's just life in the village, keeping busy with the soil and the seasons. It’s good work even if it’s tiring.
