Goalpara Agro Industry Private Limited

Goalpara Agro Industry Private Limited is based out of Udaipur, which is a small part of the Dudhnoi area. We use Nilkanta Rabha’s house as our main point of contact for all the work we do. Being in District Goalpara, we are surrounded by fields and a lot of greenery, which is good for agro work. We aren’t some huge factory with machines everywhere. Most of what we do is done by hand or with small tools we’ve had for years. It is hard work being out in the sun all day, but it feels good to see things growing. We grow various crops depending on the season. Sometimes the harvest is great and other times the pests or the weather make it difficult for us. We don't have any fancy marketing people. We just talk to the other farmers in the village and figure things out as we go. Nilkanta is good with the paperwork, so he handles the official stuff while the rest of us are usually in the fields. The road to Udaipur is okay, but it can get dusty. We meet up in the mornings to decide what needs to be done first. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just work the land and try to make sure everything stays on track. It's a local effort through and through. We hope to keep doing this for many more years.
