Nextgentech

Our place is on the ground floor of the Tah Complex, right at Gandhi Chowk. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people passing by and occasionally someone pops their head in just to ask for directions. Nextgentech isn't a huge operation. We mostly deal with laptops that won't boot up or phones with cracked screens. The back room is full of old monitors and boxes of cables that we might need one day. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly. Most of the day is spent staring at screens and trying to figure out software bugs. Sometimes the solution is simple, and other times we’re scratching our heads for hours. Uniforms aren't something we bother with here. We just wear whatever is comfortable for crawling under desks to plug things in. Gandhi Chowk is a noisy place to be, but it’s convenient for people to drop off their gadgets on their way to work. We try to be quick, but technology can be stubborn and slow us down. Selling people things they don't need isn't what we do. We just want to fix what’s broken and get it back to the owner. It’s regular, everyday tech work without any of the fancy corporate stuff. Just a small shop in the middle of a busy square.
