Gati Ltd.

Our place is down in Laxmanpura, right near the Girjaghar in Godowlia. If you know Varanasi, you know how these streets can get, especially when the crowds are out. We handle a lot of boxes and packages here at Gati Ltd. Every morning starts with the trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes to drop stuff off. It's a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We spend most of the day tagging items and making sure they go where they are supposed to go. It is dusty work, and there is always a lot of noise from the street outside. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some chairs, and stacks of manifests. We have been in this part of Varanasi for some time now. People from the local shops often drop by to send their goods to other cities. We talk to the drivers, sign the papers, and keep moving. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use the torches. It’s just how things are here. We don’t do big fancy presentations or anything. We just make sure the cargo gets moved to the right destination. Working near the church means we hear the bells and the traffic all day long. It's a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the area pretty well.
