Vidhan Public School

Ghaziabad is always noisy, especially being right on the Delhi Meerut Road. At Vidhan Public School, we hear the trucks and cars all day long. It’s just part of the life here. Our building isn't anything like those new malls they're building, but it works fine for what we need. I usually spend the first hour of my day just making sure the gates are open and the entrance is clear for everyone. There is a lot of dust that comes off the road, so cleaning is a constant job for us. The kids don’t seem to mind the noise much, though. They’re used to the Ghaziabad hustle. We have a lot of classrooms that need attention, and the staff is always running around trying to keep things in order. It’s not a quiet job by any means. Sometimes I sit in the small office and just listen to the bells ringing between periods. We’ve been here at 201011 for a while now, seeing the road get wider and the traffic get worse every year. It’s just a normal school where people work hard. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talks or big meetings. We just make sure the students have their seats and the teachers have their supplies. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we’re always checking the fans. It’s a simple, busy life on a very busy road, and we just keep going.
