VELOUR TOUCH PRIVATE LIMITED

We’re located at 1102 Dagan Street, right in the middle of Khera Bazar. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. There’s always someone shouting or a cart moving past the window. Our space is filled with all sorts of fabrics, especially the softer stuff. We spend a lot of time feeling the texture of the materials. It’s what we do at Velour Touch. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, but we know our way around. We’ve had the same people working here for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to stay busy and keep the customers happy when they walk in. The bazaar has a life of its own, and we are just a small part of it. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s slow. It’s a good way to see what’s going on in the street. We don't use any fancy software for our records, just some old-fashioned notebooks and a pen. It’s worked for us so far, so we don’t see a reason to change it. Every day is a bit different, depending on what kind of stock comes in. We just take it as it comes and try not to get too stressed about the small things. The dust from the street gets in sometimes, but we just sweep it out and keep going. That is just how life is here.
