Mahagauri Textile is tucked away in Gali No-6 over in Rajendra Nagar, Sahibabad. It’s 72/22b if you’re looking for the exact door. The lane is a bit narrow, so getting big trucks in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. Inside, there’s always the sound of machines humming along. We handle a lot of different fabrics and the floor is usually covered in scraps and threads by the end of the shift. It’s a small team here, mostly local folks who live nearby. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and you’ll see us working. The light in the morning is actually pretty nice through the front windows. Most of our days are spent checking the weaves and making sure nothing is snagging. It’s dusty work, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just like making cloth. People find us mostly by word of mouth or by just wandering into the lane. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a few fans going. There's always a stack of finished goods waiting by the door for pickup. It's just a regular workplace where everyone knows each other's names and we get through the pile of work one day at a time. It’s not fancy, but it works for us.
