Surat Saree Sale

Our shop is located at B-46 in the Main Market of Janak Puri. It’s a busy place, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We call it Surat Saree Sale because we bring in a lot of stuff that people look for. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local shop in the middle of the market. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as many sarees as we can on the shelves. Sometimes you have to squeeze past the counters to get to the back. We’ve been here for quite a few years now. The market has changed a lot, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’re still at B-46. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show what we have and tell people the price. It’s straightforward. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood, people who live in the blocks nearby. We know their faces and what they usually like. In the summers, the market gets really hot, and we just keep the doors open and the fans going. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean because of the dust from the street. We stay open late most nights. It’s just the way the market works here in Janak Puri. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just sell sarees.
