If you are looking for the spot, it is right at Kudan House Chowk on the first floor. It is room 101 C in the Ashram area, which stays fairly crowded most of the day. Bishamber Singh is the name on the door. It is not a very big space, just enough for what needs to get done. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you come by. Being near the chowk means there is always noise from the traffic and people shouting below, but you get used to it after a while. I have been around this part of town for a bit now. It is a practical location because everything is close, even if the building is older than some of the others nearby. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up well enough. Most of the work happens at the desk near the window where there is a bit of light coming in from the street. People stop by often to ask for directions or just to check in on things. It is a humble setup, nothing like those modern offices you see in the papers. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of papers to go through. Staying busy is the main thing. If the door is open, it usually means someone is inside working or taking a small break with some water.
