Sunil General Store-2

This is our second shop, Sunil General Store-2, located in Ghaziabad. We set this one up because the first one was getting too many people and we needed more space to hold stock. We carry the usual things like grains, soaps, bottled water, and some basic medicines for headaches or stomach upsets. The shop is quite plain, just four walls and plenty of shelves piled high with boxes. It can get a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our customers are people who live in the surrounding streets and know us by name. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part of the job, but we have a small cooler that helps a bit. We check our stock every couple of days to make sure we don't run out of the basics like milk and bread. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we have to explain that to the regulars. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We aren't trying to be a big chain; we just want to be the place where you can get what you need quickly. We work long hours, but it’s okay because we get to see our neighbors and stay connected to what's happening in the area. It keeps our family provided for and the locals happy.
