Shree Balajee Desi Tadka

We are over at 6/158 on DAV School Road in Sahibabad, right in Sector-2. It’s a local neighborhood spot, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. Being near the school means things get pretty loud when the kids are heading home, but the rest of the time it’s just the usual suburban buzz. We call it Desi Tadka because we like to cook with a lot of flavor, the way people do in their own kitchens. It’s not a big corporate restaurant with uniforms and manuals. Most of us here are just local people who know how to cook. We have a small seating area that’s nothing special to look at, but it’s clean and does the job. A lot of our business comes from people in the nearby houses who want to take something home for dinner. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just put a chalkboard out front with the day’s specials. The kitchen is visible from the front, so you can see the pans moving and the steam rising. It gets a bit hectic on weekend evenings when families decide to eat out together. We try our best to keep up, even if we occasionally forget a napkin or a spoon in the rush. It’s a real, living business with all its little quirks. We’re just happy to be serving the folks here in Sahibabad.
