Silky Fashion

You can find Silky Fashion at No. 222 in Anand Plaza, right in the Turab Nagar area. We are directly across from the City Pride building, so we are easy to spot if you are walking through the market. Our shop is not huge, but we have managed to fit a lot of different clothes on the shelves and racks. It’s a very lively part of town, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We’ve been here for a while and we have seen the plaza change over the years. We spend our days talking to customers and helping them find something that they like. It’s just me and my brother running the place most of the time. We don't have any big corporate mission or anything like that, we just want to run a decent shop. The glass at the front needs cleaning every morning because of all the dust from the street. We keep a small radio in the back to listen to the news while we work. Sometimes it gets really crowded in here and we have to move quickly to help everyone. The people in the neighborhood are friendly and we know many of them by name. We stay open until late because that is when the market is the busiest. It’s just a normal way to earn a living and we are glad to be here. It keeps us on our feet.
