Shree Balajee Provision & General Store

Our shop is at 77, Shiv Shakti Vihar in the Laj Nagar area of Sahibabad. Being in Ghaziabad, it gets really hot in the summer and we just keep the fans running all day. Shree Balajee Provision & General Store is basically a small space filled with bags and containers. We spend a lot of time rearranging packets on the shelves because things get moved around by everyone. The address is 201005 and it’s a typical neighborhood spot. There is always some construction noise or traffic sounds coming from the street outside. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high. It’s a lot of manual work, checking what is running low and writing it down in a notebook. We don't have a big team, just a few of us handling the daily stuff. The floor is concrete and stays cool for a little while in the morning. People walk in from the nearby houses in Shiv Shakti Vihar to pick up bits and pieces. We have to keep an eye on the jars so they don't get dusty. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road and we have to help them navigate. It’s just the way things are here in Sahibabad. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop where we spend our time. The days go by fast when we are busy with the stock and the heat isn't too bad.
