Shipra Hotel

Shipra Hotel is sitting at A-8 on Ambedkar Marg. It is a very simple and straightforward place for people to stay when they are in town. We are not a luxury resort with a pool or a gym. We just have clean rooms and a place for you to rest your head at night. Ambedkar Marg is a busy road, so we see a lot of different people coming through our doors. Some are here for work and others are just passing through to somewhere else. The building itself has some age to it. It’s not one of those brand-new hotels you see in the city center. We run it ourselves, so it has a more personal feel to it than a big chain would. A lot of our day is spent doing the basic stuff like changing sheets, scrubbing floors, and making sure the plumbing is working right. It’s not glamorous work, but it is necessary. We don't have a big staff, so we end up doing most of the chores ourselves. We try to be helpful when guests have questions about the area. Since we are right on the main road, it can be a bit noisy with the cars, but most people don't seem to mind once they are inside. We just focus on keeping the place running and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever arrives next. It is just a hotel.
