Operating out of D-178 Ramprastha Colony in Ghaziabad is where we handle things for Oberoi Group Of Hotels. It is tucked away in Sector XII, and if you are not looking for it, you might miss the building. Most people think of big, shiny buildings when they hear the name, but our daily reality here is much more down-to-earth. We deal with the administrative side of things from this district office. There is always a lot of mail coming in and out. The roads in Uttar Pradesh can be a bit of a mess, so getting to the office in the morning is sometimes a challenge. We have a small team here. We mostly focus on the logistics and the background work that keeps everything else running. It is a lot of phone calls and checking schedules on the computer. The office itself is pretty plain. We have a few desks and a water cooler that makes a loud noise sometimes. It is not a place for tourists to visit; it is where the actual work happens. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the piles of folders get a bit out of hand. Ramprastha Colony is a decent enough area, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is just us working through the tasks one by one every day. We don't have much time for anything other than the work at hand.
