Sheraton Hotel , New Delhi

This is the office for our Sheraton Hotel connection, located over at 397-B in the L.I.G. section of Shakti Khand-I. It’s in Indrapuram, Ghaziabad, even though our work is tied to the hotel in New Delhi. This place is basically a small flat that we use to handle the paperwork and coordination side of things. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the hotel itself. Mr. Rawat’s family has been here for a long time. We have a desk set up with a phone and a computer where we keep track of bookings and staff details. It’s not a grand hotel lobby, it’s just a regular room with some files and a printer. Sometimes we have to commute back and forth to the city, which takes a while depending on the traffic on the highway. We handle a lot of the background tasks here that keep the hotel running smoothly. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails throughout the day. We don’t have a sign outside, so it looks like any other home in the block. We prefer it that way because it lets us focus on the tasks without interruptions. We’re just a small part of a much bigger operation, doing the quiet work that nobody sees. It’s a bit of a trek into Delhi, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the admin stuff as it comes in from the main hotel.
